TISKnip provides screen capturing functionality.

It also extends the clipboard as it can store a series of bitmaps created by capturing the screen or by copying bitmap content from other applications to the clipboard.

 • It keeps a copy of any bitmap placed on the clipboard. Any bitmap can be put on the clipboard again for use within another application.
 • You can capture part of the desktop with the mouse.
 • You can capture the complete desktop using the "Print Screen" button or the active window using the <Alt>+<Print Screen> button combination.
 • It provides simple zooming functions so that you don't have to start a separate bitmap editor.
 • It provides printing and saving functionality.
 • It supports multiple image formats such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG or TIFF, and you can convert from one to the other.
 • You can save the captured image or send it to somebody via email.
 • It can reinstate the <Print Screen> functionality as known from the MS-DOS days.

TISKnip is developed in C++ and MFC. It requires two additional softwares, the TISWorks Library and the Microsoft Gdiplus Library.

It is supported on Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008.
Older versions still support Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Millennium
